Where our homes are
Greater Denver stretches from walkable city neighborhoods to foothills towns with trailheads at the end of the street. Here's what each area is like to actually live in.
Westminster
A city at the midpoint of the Denver–Boulder corridor, with quiet established neighborhoods, 90+ parks, and some of the best off-leash dog areas in the metro. Downtown Denver is about 20 minutes away and Boulder about 25.
Wheat Ridge
A quiet, established suburb just west of Denver. Our home is in the Fruitdale neighborhood, with tree-lined streets, big yards, the Clear Creek Trail, and a dog park within walking distance. Denver is about 15 minutes away and Red Rocks under 20.
Lakewood
A west-metro city between Denver and the foothills. Our home is in Morse Park, a tree-lined, community-minded neighborhood about a 10-minute walk from 242-acre Crown Hill Park. Denver is 15 minutes east and Red Rocks 20 minutes west.
Edgewater and Sloan's Lake
A small, walkable city on Denver's west side, wrapped around Sloan's Lake Park, the city's largest lake. Our home is one block from the 2.6-mile loop trail, about 10 minutes from downtown and 15–20 minutes from Intermountain Lutheran and St. Anthony hospitals.
