Living in Lakewood
A west-metro city between Denver and the foothills. Our home is in Morse Park, a tree-lined, community-minded neighborhood about a 10-minute walk from 242-acre Crown Hill Park. Denver is 15 minutes east and Red Rocks 20 minutes west.
Morse Park blends suburban comfort with easy access to the city. It has tree-lined streets, big lots with mature landscaping, and a mix of mid-century ranches, Craftsman homes, and a few old farmhouses left over from the area’s agricultural past. It feels more spacious than most Denver-adjacent neighborhoods, almost like a small town.
It’s also known for its community spirit, with an active neighborhood association and local events. With parks in every direction and the foothills 20 minutes away, it’s a good fit for anyone who wants an active Colorado routine and a quieter alternative to central Denver.
